Wanda Bills

Wanda Bills, age 80, of Wilmington, passed peacefully at home with her loving husband, on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, the couple’s 62nd wedding anniversary.

Born on September 17, 1936, in she was the daughter of Willard Lee Wells and Mary Opal Bailey Wells.

Wanda is survived by her husband Robert J. Bills; the two were married on August 15, 1955.

After graduating from Jefferson High School, Wanda was employed by Ampex in Colorado Springs, Colorado and retired after over 20 years of service.  She was a member of the Wilmington Church of God.  Wanda was also a nail technician.  She was a good woman, wife, mother, sister, and a good friend to all who knew her.  Wanda was a kind and generous lady who loved yard work, reading, keeping her house, and collecting angels.  She always thought of others before she thought of herself.

Also surviving is a son, Robert Lee (Pam) Bills; a sister, Deanna Wells Binegar; sisters-in-law, Purisima Wells and Terry Wells; nieces and nephews, Angela (Pat) Henson, Wyonald (Jenny) Wells Jr., Stephanie Beddingfield, and Jackie (DJ) Peck.

Preceding her in death were brothers, Billy Ray Wells and Wyonald Wells, Sr. and a brother-in-law, Erol Binegar.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Wilmington Church of God from 10-11am, when a funeral service will begin.  Burial to follow at Westboro Cemetery.  

Littleton Funeral Home, Sabina, has been entrusted with arrangements.
