On August 23, 2014, from 9am until 12pm (noon) Clinton Soil and Water Conservation District will be having a Large Tire Recycling event for Clinton County residents only. The event will be held at the County Engineer’s Office [1326 Fife Avenue]. The Large Tire Recycling is sponsored by Clinton Soil & Water Conservation District, Clinton County Engineers, Clinton County Solid Waste Management District and Ohio EPA.
In order to participate, participants will need to stop by the Soil and Water office and register.

All Tires must be off rim
Limited funding available to support this collection program
Registrations will be accepted in the order received
The number of participants or tires may be limited

Prior to August 15, 2014 stop by the Clinton SWCD office at 111 S. Nelson Ave Suite 5 to:
Register the number of tires
Set up drop off time
Make your payment
Once registered there will be no refunds available
ACCORDING TO THE OHIO REVISED CODE ALL TIRES MUST BE SECURED AND TARPED UNLESS YOU HAVE AN ENCLOSED VEHICLE.
NOTE: Large earthmoving equipment tires and passenger tires are NOT accepted. We CANNOT accept tires from junk yards, garages, auto repair shops, tire, automobile, truck, and farm-equipment dealerships or motorcycle/ATV repair shops or dealerships.
$1.50 for Semi/Large truck 17”-36”
$5.00 for Tractor Tire 36”-60”
$10.00 for Large Tractor tires 60” or larger
