The Community Action Commission of Fayette County is holding its Winter Crisis Program through March 31st to help with heating bills.

Help is limited to $175 for regulated gas and electric, $350 for homes that heat with coal or wood, and $750 for those who heat with propane, fuel oil, or kerosene. To be eligible, the household income cannot exceed 175% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines and must meet additional requirements.

Applications are being accepted at the Community Action Office in Washington CH. Walk-in appointments are available Monday through Friday from 8-3pm.
