The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office arrested three people following a pair of search warrants at separate rooms of the City Motel on Washington Avenue, Thursday night.
Sheriff Vernon Stanforth says authorities found suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, and cash in Room 14, and 35-year-old Sonya K. Jackson, of Washington Court House, was seen throwing evidence out of the bathroom window before being taken into custody.
The Sheriff says a deputy was injured after a dog in the room bit his leg, and Children’s Services responded after a 15-year-old relative of Jackson as found in the room.
Jackson was arrested for drug trafficking and tampering with evidence.
Sheriff Stanforth says a search of Room 15 led to the arrest of 42-year-old Frandral Kelly, of Columbus, and 57-year-old Derial Daniels, of Toledo, for drug trafficking and having weapons under disability. Authorities allegedly found suspected heroin, drug paraphernalia, cash, and a gun in the room.
Jackson, Kelly, and Daniels are all scheduled to appear before the Washington Court House Municipal Court on Monday for arraignment.
