A Washington Court House man has been arrested on five counts of voyeurism following an investigation at a JeffersonTownship business. Fayette County Sheriff Vernon Stanforth said his office received a complaint in February that there appeared to be a camera in the stall area of the women’s restroom of Travel Centers of America.

The business manager reportedly found a cell phone belonging to 48-year-old Herman Perkins above a removable ceiling tile in the restroom.

Perkins was an employee of Travel Centers of America at the time of the incident.

Sheriff Stanforth said Perkins allegedly hid the phone in the areas of the women’s restroom and recorded patrons while in the restroom.

Perkins was arrested on Wednesday.
