Some of the coldest temperatures we've seen in 20 years are expected Monday and Tuesday, which means you to prepare your vehicle to deal with these conditions.

AAA Ohio has seen their requests for assistance double over the last couple of days. Spokesperson Kimberly Schwind expects that trend to continue through at least mid-week. She suggests going on line or using their mobile app to request help.

Schwind also says it's important to have an emergency kit with you in case you are stranded waiting for help to arrive. The kit should include a blanket and maybe a few snacks. Also, don't forget a phone charger to keep your phone powered up to allow you to call for help. If you just slide off the road, you'll need a shovel and a bag of sand or cat litter can help with traction.
