A Fayette County farmer has won $2,500 for Miami Trace High School through "America's Farmers Grow Communities."

Greg Gustin, of Fayette County, was selected as a winner in America's Farmers Grow Communities, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, and chose Miami Trace High School to receive the funds.

Greg and his wife Christy have decided to give the award to Miami Trace Schools. Christy says the money will go to two projects.

Christy, a science teacher at the High School, says her classroom will also benefit.

A representative from Monsanto will be on hand with the Gustins on this Wednesday, March 12th at 1pm, at the Miami Trace High School, to present the check.
