After a fan announced Monday that Garth Brooks would be kicking off his upcoming trek in Chicago, the country superstar is now filling in the details about opening night.
The show is set for the northwestern suburb of Rosemont, Illinois, and will be staged at the Allstate Arena on September 4th. Tickets cost a total of $65.50 - tax and service charges included - and go on sale July 25th.
On the first day of sales, tickets will only be available from Ticketmaster and Ticketmaster Express by phone, or online, and not from the arena's box office or any Ticketmaster outlets.
The concert will be Brooks' first in the Chicago area in 17 years, and he's excited to make his return. Garth says any time he's asked his favorite places to play, his list "always includes Chicago."
Chicago is the first stop of a world tour featuring Brooks' wife, Trisha Yearwood. Garth plans to give individual announcements for each city he'll visit.
